This week we were pressure cleaning at summervale road in Tunbridge Wells
Pressure washing dramatically changes the appearance of Patio & Driveways, without compromising the integrity of the surface.
Some more fragile surfaces, commonly found on pool decking, patios and other decorative concrete and stone work will also clean very well using reduced pressures.
After Cleaning we also offer a service where the surface can be sealed to prevent rapid re-soiling.
Also with Block paving and patios the sand or Sand/Cement can be blown away Castle Cleaning technicians can replace both these methods of pointing.
Our goal is to provide our customers with the highest quality work and service, at a fair and competitive price, and to back our work with excellent Customer Service and Support.
Patio cleaning can differ slightly from Driveway cleaning as there are more varieties of slabs that we come across and all can require different cleaning and sealing techniques
There is sandstone, Indian sandstone, slate, concrete, Limestone and Marble.
Each of these surfaces need treating with care lower pressures need to be applied, you have to be very careful when using any chemicals as these can discolor the stones, also some sealants will react with certain slabs spoiling the look.
Concrete slabs and pre-cast Sandstone Patio slabs can be effectively sealed with with an acrylic sealer which will the slabs a glazed look. Indian Sandstone, Marble and Limestone slabs however react negatively with these sorts of sealers, the slabs are so porous they take along time to expel the moisture and can turn acrylic sealers white.
With these Slabs we recommend a Natural Stone (Impregnator) sealer this will just take into the stone, it won’t change the appearance of the stone but throw water on it and it will bead on the surface
With over 10 years experience in this we have invested in training courses and the correct chemicals/ sealants to apply to these surfaces
